Papa_Smurf: John Zerzan, a leading anarcho-primitivist with a radio show out of Eugene, Oregon called "Anarchy Radio". He is better known to the world as the guy who defended the Unabomber just after his manifesto was written, but then later he disavowed his associations with Kaczynski.
To the anarchist world, he is the guy that thinks his brand needs to burn bridges in order to remain relevant. His supposed anti-leftism is surprisingly anthropocentric, humanist and friendly to leftist identity politics. He is on again and off again a collapsist, typically following the lead of his younger buddy, Kevin Tucker, when they want to edge out some other anarchist faction they think is getting too friendly with their brand.
