EmmaAintDead: Found a vintage post from back when posting was done by mixing 1 part cake flour and 4 parts cool water slowly introduce flour into cool water in a pot whisking continuously cook over medium heat until mixture thickens to desired consistency then remove from heat and continue stirring for 5 minutes let cool to room temperature transfer mixture to container of choice use a paint brush or roller to apply to wall before adhering poster and apply second layer of mixture over poster ensuring full coverage of poster and saturation of edges.
These went up around Chicago and Milwaukee within two days of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010. They were pasted on gas stations, banks, government buildings, and eventually just kinda wherever. 11x17 on newsprint. Run of 450.
